Watch online as Deputy Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa addresses the UN
Join us live via video feed at 07.00 on 11 July (Apia time) as the Deputy Prime Minister outlines Samoa's progress in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Samoa is either on track to achieving, or has achieved 47 percent of indicators agreed to by the government when it signed up to the SDGs, adopted by all UN member states in 2015. But many challenges remain and need to be addressed.
The Deputy Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa will speak live via video feed to the UN High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development, based in New York. She will outline Samoa's achievements - as well as some of the growing economic, social and environmental challenges.
