Spotlight Initiative - Making an Impact | Women empower women to end DV/IPV

A video that shares testimonies and reflections of key figures in leading women movements on their work they have done to empower village women in their roles as advocates, leaders and menders of family problems resulting in violence.

The Samoa National Council of Women is crucial partner of the Spotlight Initiative and through UNDP they were supported to deliver transformational leadership trainings that integrates the principles of the Spotlight Initiative for the grass root women. They trained over 300 women from 15 villages in Savaii and Upolu.
