TOKELAU - Coutry Implementation Plan 2023 - 2024 Review Report.

From 2023 to 2024, the UN supported Tokelau through 9 agencies, delivering 45 development interventions aligned with the country’s priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals. With an available budget of USD 2.4 million, the UN utilized USD 1.6 million, achieving significant results in health, education, climate resilience, and child protection. The most progress was seen in the People and Planet pillars, where communities benefited from stronger public services, integrated climate strategies, and more resilient institutions. Despite these gains, challenges such as limited funding for economic development and governance, capacity constraints, and data gaps point to the need for more balanced investments and a robust monitoring framework to sustain momentum and achieve long-term development outcomes in Tokelau.
